Cost of Living

Well, we've been here a year, and you know what that means: It's time to assess how well my projected budget is holding up! Can we afford to keep living here? Will we blow through the rest of our savings in the next couple years? Are we overspending on flødboller and øl and  softice ? Where do we need to rein it in? Let's find out together! (Seriously. I'm writing this intro before even attempting to go back through and compare it with the costs I predicted we would incur. What a rush!) * * * I originally considered two categories for income (mine and Zac's) and 15 categories of expenses ranging from rent to streaming services. One Year in Denmark

🎉 🥳 It's been a year!! 🎉 🥳 One year ago, we stepped off an airplane and into a totally different world, and it was the beginning of the most amazing adventure we've ever been on as a family. Here's the video Vibe took as we strolled into the CPH airport as a family for the first time on August 4th, 2023. It's fun to go read the blog posts from the very beginning. We were scared and excited, stressed and overjoyed, and basically just riddled with anxiety. We had to read and plan and guess without actually knowing anything, and it was a wild time.
