The Great Outdoors, a Hospital Trip, and The Flaming Lips

The first half of June was so dejlig (lovely)! The kids had their class trips, of course, and you can read all about that in a separate post, but the weather has been perfect, evenings are long and relaxing, and everything smells incredible. This good weather means we are outside a lot. We have to take advantage of it, because we know it won't last long! Sometimes, outdoor fun comes at a price, though. Harrison made an error in judgment while he was using the go-kart attachment with the hoverboard and ended up hyper-extending his wrist and injuring his elbow. We thought he might've broken it, so we called 1813 (the non-emergency medical number that you can call anytime) and they sent us to the hospital in Gentofte for x-rays. He was OK, but it scared him a lot. He was very well-behaved during his x-rays, so he got a little LEGO minifig keychain, and then he was good during his examination, too, so they gave him another one!
