🎉 🥳 It's been a year!! 🎉 🥳 One year ago, we stepped off an airplane and into a totally different world, and it was the beginning of the most amazing adventure we've ever been on as a family. Here's the video Vibe took as we strolled into the CPH airport as a family for the first time on August 4th, 2023. It's fun to go read the blog posts from the very beginning. We were scared and excited, stressed and overjoyed, and basically just riddled with anxiety. We had to read and plan and guess without actually knowing anything, and it was a wild time. Back to Living the Danish Life!

OK, back to Danish life! We had a nice visit to the U.S., but we still have lots of good Danish living to cover. Birthdays My birthday happened while I was in the U.S., but we celebrated with some delicious BLTs and ice cream at home before I left. And for those of you who think a BLT doesn't sound like a very exciting birthday dinner, I feel sad, because it's clear to me that Zac has never made you a sandwich before. That guy is GOOD. My colleagues sure didn't forget my birthday, either. I returned from the U.S. to find my desk decorated in traditional Danish birthday fashion. Zac got me really some really cool earrings from Lövendahl that I had eyed when we visited their booth at Copenhell. Kaden also turned 15 the other day! You guys! My baby boy is 15 years old! His birthday was in the middle of the week, which sucked because it was also the day that Zac and I had to take our Danish test.  EXIT POINT DAY!!!!!!!!! Exit point day is on Friday march 15th. We are going too dress up as story characters. we will bring treats inspired by books. I am bringing chocolate chip cookies with mustard / icing that is yellow which is in Super pigs. In art we made story masks of story people or animals. I made Kai from ninjago.
