Khloe's Post (#1)

Hiii!!
I have no clue on how to start a blog post or anything but...

WHEN WE FIRST GOT HERE

When I first walked through our side door on our new house I immediately fell in love with the house. I liked how most of it was white, and how it had cacti, and plants all over. After I looked around, I rushed to go find my new room, and when I saw it all of these different ideas started popping into my head because I had always loved interior design and all that. It was pretty hard to make my room look good when we hadn't had any furniture in our entire house besides a couch in the basement. After a while, I unpacked my things and hours later, our neighbors started showing up at our door! I met our neighbor that lives down the road/shared sidewalk thing, and our neighbors that live around six houses down.

ONE WEEK LATER

School was about to start in a few days, so my mom took me and my brother down to a book store to go buy us school supplies. Once we got there I almost felt satisfied because of how crisp and new everything looked knowing that it would look well used in just a few days. Once we finished up there, I went to bed, and time flew by because the next day I was taking the bus to school with my mom. At school, I walked in the classroom and sat down at one of the four open seats left. I sat next to these girls named Natalie, Mazvita, Bruna, and Anika. The first place you sit on the first day of school is very important! Most likely those are the people your friends with the rest of the year, both unfortunately and fortunately, that was not the case. I ended up meeting this girl Kirsten, and we hit it off right away. We were both from America, and we both had no clue what we were doing so that was perfect.

THE SECOND WEEK

The second week was a little less confusing, but I became friends with most people in year 8, but it was only a few days after that I became friends with basically everyone. My homeroom teacher James is really nice, and I'm very happy with all of the teachers for the main subjects (English, History, Geography, HP, and Math). I had started to do this thing with Harrison during recess where we would meet up and hangout behind a colored wooden wall, but that was only constant for about a week and a half before we stopped. We occasionally still meet up at the wall and around the playground, but when I'm not doing that at recess me and my friends are braiding hair, and climbing on a rock, and walking and talking, or knocking over soccer goals.

WEEK THREE

Week three was way more fun than other weeks because on Monday I was tired the whole day so I was pretty calm and relaxed, and I aced my danish lesson. On Tuesday, it was about the same, but the next day (Wednesday) we were participating in sports day where your year gets assigned a sport and you compete against the danish side of the school, and some of the kids from your side to move up the bracket. On Thursday, I found out about all these cool field trips we are going to go on, and first period (P.E.) was so chaotic people were hitting other people with brooms and throwing objects at each other! Their mistake for splitting us up by gender...on Friday though... Fridays are the best because on Friday I have art, and football practice. I had just signed up for football (soccer) practice cause I thought that it was the best thing to participate in and I have always been secretly in love with soccer. I headed home after a very awkward soccer practice and talked to my friends!
