Hi friends and family! I hope you are having a great time in Idaho or wherever you are. If you ask how school is going, it's great. My teacher's name is April just like the month. My favorite thing to do in Maths at school is finding the correct answer with tiny and the alligator. (The alligator is the < or > sign). 

My favorite lesson is of course Maths. That is why I wrote about tiny the turtle and the alligator. My favorite thing to do in school is lunchtime, recess, and snack time. Oh yeah, and then I also like International lessons.

Sorry I did not say I am Harrison David Barber. Our old house is sold. Forgot to say I am in 1st grade and in year 2. They have years by the way. We have a lifetime back yard. (Harrison says this means you could stay in it forever.)

Grandma Debbie, is it true that my mom has called a few times? I just want to know. I love our house. My mom lost her AirPods. She is trying to find them. I am going now so bye.

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing fine. If you ask how my day is going well I will tell you all about it. First I went to school and then at school the first lesson was phonics then double P.E. After I went to music then computering then last but not least it is library. Those were lessons. There is a snack to0. Well of course there is lunch. I am going to say some Danish words in some of my words. Try to look out for them. But anyway I made a new friend I met on the bus. He talks very fast just want to say. and he is very nice he is my best friend. In school jeg er learning about technology they use in jobs. like computers and x/ray machines in the doctor. at the police station they use walkie-talkies and speed monitor which are those things they use to see how fast you are going.

We did it! We bought a house in Denmark. It's all ours! And, oh man, has this been a wild ride! The Barber Visitors, 2025 (and Our Summer Holiday)

I can't express how much we love visitors. We love seeing familiar faces, and we love sharing this amazing country with the people we love. This June, we got not one, but  two  sets of Barber visitors! First, Nate and Maggie arrived mid-June. We picked them up the same day that we sent Harrison off on his school trip, so we actually had a couple of kidless days to hang out. The first evening was very casual. We went for a walk through the forest near our house and out to the lake. The baby swans were out with their parents! On Day 2, we walked Nyhavn to Amalienborg (the royal residence), cruised Kastellet, saw the Marble Church, ate at Gasoline Grill, walked to Broen and got Aperol Spritzes, wandered Christiania, took a canal boat tour, and ate dinner at Pico Pizza before heading home. Here Comes the Sun!

It's so nice outside!! Even Kaden remarked how much better and happier the sunshine makes you feel. There have been some signs of spring for a couple of weeks now: little vintergækker  (snowdrops) are springing up everywhere, trees and bushes are starting to leaf out, and the sun is blinding us almost daily. I've resumed my bike rides to work (on days I don't have to show up early for lab work), Zac is jogging in the afternoons, and Harrison is busy outside quite often. Even this precious cat is back to her sunny-day adventures! Zac got the windows all clean and clear, so the light really comes in nicely all day long. Yay for spring! * * * Danish classes are coming along. We are approaching the end of Module 3.4 (only one more to go after that!) - we take our exam at the end of May.
